Our namesake Gallo Nero (black rooster) is a symbol of pride, power and victory which comes from a classic Italian legend. As the story goes, a black rooster helped Florence win the Chianti region from Siena. Ever since this day the gallo nero is a victorious Florentine symbol and can be found across Italy
